2008 QuadRacer R450TM An ATV Like No Other In a world where most riders are used to taking a stock sport ATV and bolting on a long list of aftermarket parts before heading to the racetrack, the 2008 LT-R450 is ready to go right off the show room floor! The 2008 Suzuki Quadracer R450 is a ready-to-race ATV designed, developed and tested by a team of dedicated Suzuki engineers working with WPSA Pro Motocross Champion Doug Gust. Powered by a fuel-injected 450cc four-stroke engine, based on the race proven RM-Z450 four-stroke engine, this ATV is designed to deliver broad, smooth power. With fuel injection, vibration-reducing counterbalancers, a five-speed transmission and electric start. In a low-slung, wide track racing chassis with long-travel suspension, a high-tensile steel swingarm and heavy duty steering stem and rear axles. Complete with an exciting, aggressive new look. A high-performance, race-ready ATV that inspires rider confidence. On the starting line for a WPSA motocross, or at a local track on a Saturday afternoon.

Rider Safety
Suzuki engineered the LT-R450 for experienced riders. Suzuki QuadRunner® ATVs may be used only by those aged 16 and older. Suzuki highly recommends that all ATV riders take a training course. Innovative Suzuki Advanced Sump System allows the engine mass and crankshaft to be positioned close to the ground for a low center of gravity and also keeping the engine as short as possible

Lightweight and durable titanium valves are used for precise valve control at high rpm and reduced reciprocating mass. Titanium intake valves measure 36mm and 29mm on the exhaust

Lightweight forged aluminum pistons use a new 3 ring design with cutaway sides, oil retaining grooves for reduced friction and the oil control ring features a high performance chrome nitride plating for less friction and improved strength

Lightweight magnesium clutch cover, magneto cover, and cylinder head cover for minimal weight and maximum durability
