Corona, Calif., (Jan. 23, 2006) – Jason Lawrence of the ROCKSTAR Suzuki team raced to a 9th place overall finish in the Lites class of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series at Anaheim last Saturday.
Lawrence, who made the main by finishing fourth in his heat worked hard in the main to record his first top ten finish of the year. The effort also landed him in the top 15 overall (14th) after AMA Lites West races.
“I pretty much made up my mind that I had to do better,” said Lawrence. “Not only for my sponsors, but for me. This one race has given me the confidence I need to create some good, if not better, results for the rest of the season.”
Also battling to a good finish was ROCKSTAR Suzuki’s Ryan Mills. The New York native just missed the top ten, coming in 11th. He also moved all the way up to 17th in the overall standings, giving ROCKSTAR Suzuki two AMA Lites class racers in the top 20.
